The following services are provided to both members and non-members:
Free access to public computers. Our computer stations are Linux based with Open Office software and Mozilla Firefox web browsers. We have 19 public stations and they are non-reservable. Printing is available (black and white only) for 25¢ per page.
Free wireless internet access
Self-serve photocopying: black and white only; 25¢ for letter size (per side) and 35¢ for legal size (per side)
Fax Service: $1/page in province; $2/page out of province; $2.50/page out of country. Receiving fee is $1/ page (fax # 403-782-3329)
Exam Invigilation Service: The Library's History Room may be booked by distance education students for online or hand-written exams. The invigilation fee is a flat rate of $25 for 1-3 hours and $50 for more than 3 hours. Please contact the library to book an exam time.

Announcements & Events
The new session of children's programs has begun. All programs for ages 2 through 5 are currently FULL! There are several spaces available for babies, and for after school programs for ages 6 through 13. Please call, email or stop by in person for more information and/or to register. Programs run January 11 - February 17, February 27 - April 6, and April 16 - May 25. No classes April 9 - 13. Children will be registered for all 3 sessions unless informed otherwise. $5 per family for the full session.
February 16 Real Alternatives presents Monsieur Lazhar 7:15pm at Reel to Reel Cinemas in Lacombe. Tickets $8 in advance at the library and Kavaccinos, until noon on the 16th. Door tickets $9, subject to availability. This film is rated PG.
The Friends of the Library are planning a Rummage Sale! The sale will take place in the Spring 2012, date/time TBA. Donations of gently used items gratefully accepted, and may be dropped off at the library beginning in January. *No large appliances or mattresses please!* All proceeds from the sale will go to The Friends of the Library. Thank you in advance for your support.
