Annual memberships fee is $20/person or household. If purchasing a household (family) membership, each individual will have an independent and separate account.
Mary C. Moore Public Library memberships are also The Alberta Library (TAL)Cards, which means they can be used at any library in the province. Present your active membership card to any participating library and you will be registered as a borrower at that library. You are responsible to abide by the lending policies of the library from which you have borrowed items from. You may also return items to any participating Alberta library.
Membership cards are non-transferable and must be presented each time materials are borrowed. Privileges extended with the card may be revoked for cause.
Lending Policy:
The borrower is responsible for all materials borrowed and must abide by the rules and regulations of the library.
Each membership card can borrow up to 50 items, 10 of which may be audio-visual materials (DVDs, videos, CDs). All books (including audio books) are lent for a 3 week period, all other items are for 1 week.
Borrowers will be charged the replacement cost plus a $5 processing fee for any lost or damaged items. Accounts will be frozen when charges exceed $10.
Borrowers will be charged for overdue items, 25¢ per item per day. Borrowing privileges will be revoked. There is no phone notification for overdue items. Notification is available by email only (address must be added to your account information).
An outdoor book return is available for 24/7 returns.
